Our stay at Maison Aix was delightful. The house was very clean, delightfully furnished and very convenient to the central city. The grounds were lovely, private and well
used during our stay. I would certainly recommend Maison Aix House to friends. A special note about our chef Thierry. He was fabulous! Very professional in his work and accommodating to our preferences. Preparation, presentation and clean up were faultless. Dinners were a highlight of the
trip. I am very pleased with the service and help France Bound provided. Your knowledge and resources in Provence substantially added to our enjoyment during our first trip to Provence. Thanks. P.O'Kelly. Illinois. Oct/08
The house was just fantastic - 10 days was not enough time! The location and the town of Aix was perfect. All our excursions were great: sailing from Marseille, Cassis and Calanques (we should have allowed more time to hike the Calanques), Avignon, Monte Carlo (I didn't care for it - not a shopper), Eze (fascinating), Cannes (wow), and the coast road west of Cannes. All your advice was bang on, and the rentals in Aix & Paris were great. I'm telling all our friends about France Bound. J. Davidson. Vancouver. Sep/07.
We were delighted with the villa and our stay in Aix. We went to the market every day, got some great ingredients, then had a superb dinners at the house, usually with local rose wines. The house was comfortable for 7 people. There are lots of different places to sit and enjoy, both indoors and outdoors. The garden and pool area are very private, which is remarkable for a home so close to the center. Every day we walked into Aix, which was a pleasure in itself. The town is wonderful, but that is no secret. We also enjoyed our biking trip around Avignon, Orange, and through the foothills around Mt Ventoux. Bottom line, we really enjoyed Provence and our stay at Maison Aix. We think the house is a great place to stay in Aix, but we'd like to keep it a secret ! Thanks for all your help.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and our stay at Maison Aix. It is a stunningly beautiful house, especially the outdoor patio and pool area. We really enjoyed being able to walk into Aix to the daily markets. We also visited Cassis, Arles, Nimes, Avignon and Carcassone. Unfortunately we had problems with the TV & telephone at Maison Aix, but otherwise we loved the house and the location was perfect. France Bound's travel package was very helpful with lots of advice about the markets, vineyards, restaurants, and driving in France. We had a fabulous meal at the recommended Clos Violette restaurant in Aix. Mouradian & Sumner families. Toronto. July/07. |
