This charming apartment has been beautiful restored and retains many original characteristics of the traditional Aix town house, including antique floor-tiles, parquet floors, high ceilings, carved mouldings, marble fireplace etc. The apartment is furnished and decorated with style.
The Living room has a modern style with meridienne sofa and arm-chair, teak wood table, a marble fireplace, a large digital plasma wall television (42 inches), and a radio CD player.
The dining area has a table and seating for up to 4.
The beautifully fitted kitchen leads into the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances and utensils, including washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hotplate, toaster, lots of dishes, and all cooking equipment. |

The apartment is located in a beautifully restored historic townhouse in the centre of Aix en Provence, just steps from the Cours Mirabeau, and the cafes, restaurants, shops and markets. You can easily access the apartment by car to drop your luggage and then leave your car at a nearby parking place, “Parking Mignet”. |

The trip was wonderful. We had sun every day, ecept one, and the temperature was between 25 and 30 C. The apartment was really beautiful and very functional. The manager was there to greet us and went along with my husband to the parking garage. This was very much appreciated as it would have been difficult to handle this on our own since we were tired after the overnight flight. The daily colourful markets are just outside your apartment door. The famous cafes of the Cours Mirabeau are just a short stroll from the apartment as well as many excellent restaurants. From this location you can explore all the sights and activities of Aix on Provence on foot, including the Cathedral, and the many stone fountains which adorn the squares and streets of Aix. The narrow streets play host to numerous restaurants, many with terraces. Of course, for the music lovers, the Aix festival (in July) is a real must see. There are also daily Proven?ßal markets to be enjoyed, with their fragrances of basil, thyme and 'farigoulette'. In the vicinity there are endless magnificent sites to visit - the mountain of Saint Victoire (hiking circuits), the Pilon du Roi, the Sainte Baume, Marseilles with its beaches and old harbour, Carry le Rouet, Cassis or Saint-Tropez to give but a few examples. The villages of the Luberon, The Roman ruins in Arles and the Popes Palace in Avignon are barely one hour's drive. |
