Description: The charming & spacious Paris studio has four separate areas: the living area with two armchairs, a queen-sized bed in the sleeping area, a desk and a dressing area in the far corner – it’s ideal for spending time ‘at home’ in Paris.

The living room has two armchairs in antique white, with a footstool. It’s nice to relax here at the end of the day, listen to music or catch up on the internet or news.

The piece de resistance is the original limestone wall discovered during the renovation. Paris was built on limestone and much of it was excavated for the old buildings that remain. Interestingly, you can explore some of the limestone caves in Les Catacombes in Paris. Now fully exposed, it adds a dramatic touch to this room and is further enhanced by the darker hardwood floor and the antique-style white and cream furniture. The fact that Paris is honeycombed with these caves has helpfully restricted the height allowed in new buildings, which means the skyline of Paris is and will always be low.

At the second window is an antiqued white desk where you can work in peace and quiet.

The kitchen is just off the entryway and features every appliance plus good counterspace for preparing a meal. Two bar stools for your morning caf?© cr?®me and croissant. One of our favorite bakeries is literally around the corner, where you can buy warm, buttery croissants.

The opposite wall of the kitchen has a two burner stove, sink, an under-the-counter refrigerator, and a combination microwave/convection oven.

Eat at the small dining table or at the counter in the kitchen looking out to the courtyard. Because this is such a small building, you have a lot of quiet and privacy.
Accommodations:
The bedroom area has a queen-sized bed for a comfortable night’s sleep. A beautiful iron crown frames the bed with pretty cream lace curtains. The creamy colors create a warm Provencal look. The dresser in antique white means good storage – plus a closet for hanging is available in the entryway. The walls are adorned by beautiful old prints.

The newly remodeled bathroom has a sink, shower, washer/dryer and toilet. There is a drying rack, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, as well as a safe for your valuables.
Exterior: This charming 250 sq. ft. ground floor studio in Paris feels like the country in Paris! Step into a small courtyard and see this charming apartment ahead of you. There are only four apartments in this building and the relative peace and quiet makes it hard to believe you’re in the center of Paris.
Equipment:
Now with air conditioning. Washer/dryer, drying rack, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, a personal safe for your valuables, TV, telephone, stereo, internet access, a two burner stove, under-the-counter refrigerator, and a combination microwave/convection oven.
Comments:
You will not find such a great location and all these conveniences in any hotel in Paris, and especially for the reasonable price. For the same price, hotels would offer a postage stamp sized room – and that’s all!
Reviews: The Rue Cler district in Paris was terrific. Great food, shopping and close to the river and the Eiffel tower. The apartment was very small but we expected that so no problem. The bed was very comfortable. In fact, can you let us know the make and model so we can buy one for our home. We found the shower in the bathroom was small, and difficult to turn around in. Over all, it was a great trip and we certainly appreciated the help, guidance and information you gave us. P. Kenny. Vancouver. May/08
