This traditional Provence house that was originally built in the 12th century looks directly upon the magnificent ruins of the Roman amphitheatre called Les Arenes. The townhouse has been beautifully restored and retains its original charm and character. As you enter the house through the ancient wood door, you step into the living/dining room, which is attractively furnished with a large 7 foot sofa (converts to queen size sofabed), several easy chairs, and accented by carefully chosen antiques. The dining area has a table and chairs for 4. The original stone walls and overhead beams give this rental in Provence its old world charm. Both the living room and the dining room face the street and enjoy wonderful views of the Roman ampitheatre Les Arenes.
The kitchenette is located in an alcove behind the living/dining room and is well equipped with with 2 burner electric stove, small microwave/oven combo unit, small fridge, plus an extra full size fridge in the basement with the washer and dryer, and half bathroom. |

Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms each with a queen size 4 poster beds, fireplace, satellite TV, antique tables and chairs, exquisite linens, and beautiful views to the street give these bedrooms a special ambiance. Each bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom with clawfoot tubs and shower fixtures, sink and WC.
The house has recently been equipped with 3 air conditioning units. |
