Step outside to a charming terrace with iron bench, round table and chairs and even an umbrella for sunny days.

The terrace offers rare views towards the top of the Dome of the Invalides and the famous pedestrian street of rue Cler. Rue Cler is one of the most famous market street in Paris and features some of the best greengrocers, patisseries, delicatessens, wine merchants, cheese merchants, fish shops, butchers and even health food stores in Paris. You will delight in stepping out for fresh croissants and baguettes every morning, still warm from the oven. Buy the Herald Tribune a few doors away and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the balcony.

In the evening, relax on the terrace with a glass of wine and classical music on the stereo, watching the sun set over the rooftops and the Invalides Dome where Napoleon is buried.

It is hard to express how special these kinds of apartments and views are for your vacation, but our guests tell us time and again that the highlight of their stay was to relax in the comfort of our luxury apartments and to explore our shop-filled neighborhood.

In the living room, find a long sofa on the right hand wall; it is over 6 feet long and converts to separate single beds at night. It is great for catnaps during lazy days. At night, our guests love our sofas because they convert to two single beds, more comfortable sleeping than regular hide-a-beds. The tones of the apartment are warm beige, with soft silk curtains on the French doors.

Two comfortable chairs face the sofa and you will find flat screen tv, dual standard dvd player and stereo. You can watch several English channels such as CNN, BBC and CNBC. We also provide a small selection of music and English movies -- bring your own as it is wonderful to relax at home after a busy day.

We provide free high speed internet so you can call home from your computer and even catch up on emails.

On the left side of the living room find a charming rectangular table, perfect for four with comfortable, chocolate brown leather chairs. Beyond the table find a full-sized refrigerator/freezer combination and a wall of cupboards for storage.

On the far left wall is the newly built-in kitchen. The white cabinets and worktops provide ample storage and workspace. We have fully equipped the kitchen with a microwave/convection oven combination, four burner stovetop, dishwasher, washer/dryer and large refrigerator/freezer. Our dishes are white porcelain from the top supplier in Paris and we add a toaster, cappuccino maker and regular filter coffee pot for your enjoyment every morning.

From the entryway, find the toilet or wc on your immediately left. It is accessible from the living room and bedroom, which is very handy when everyone is getting ready. Immediately in front of you is the bedroom. This compact room features a queen-sized bed and closets on your left. The large bedroom window overlooks a quiet inner courtyard.
The bedroom is compact but darling: find an extra wide queen-sized bed with a Simmons Pillowtop mattress - the best available. An antique mahogany headboard graces the bed and adds an elegant touch. The bedroom features a double closet with sliding doors and an antique desk out of walnut from Genoa; a charming touch. Next to the desk is a large window which overlooks the quiet courtyard.

The en suite bathroom joins the bedroom, with bathtub/shower combination, sink and good cupboard space. It has just been remodeled with pretty white and blue tiles and has good natural light from the large window.
Exterior: View of the top of the Dome of the Invalides from living room and dining area. View over the rooftops of this famous market street and rue Cler, below.
This apartment now has air conditioning. Elevator, washer/dryer, microwave/convection oven, espresso/capuccino machine, toaster, coffeepot, dishwasher, telephone, highspeed adsl internet, tv, stereo, dvd, cd, hair dryer, ironing facilities, personal safe, secure entry.
An English speaking local host will greet you upon arrival and remain available for assistance if required.
An important note: all of our apartments are fitted with the highest quality double glazed windows available, the same quality as luxury hotels use. Even though Paris is a bustling city, you will find our apartments very quiet.
Reviews: Paris was magnifique! The Rue Cler location could not have been better and the apartment worked well for the four of us. The local host was there to meet us when we arrived and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We tried out several of the cafes and shops recommended by France Bound, and met with success every time. We did so much walking it feels like we explored every inch of Paris. Nonetheless, I can hardly wait to go back! We really got our monies worth out of the Paris museum passes and the priority access. Many thanks for all your assistance. I have been telling friends all about our trip, and recommending France Bound. T & D. Christopher. Vancouver July 2008.
