The Mas St. Remy is a beautifully restored 17th century farm house situated on a large landscaped property. The large grounds also include a shared heated swimming pool, hot tub & BBQ area surrounded by terraces. This rental is beautifully furnished and decorated and completely independent and private, with its own outdoor dining terrace. Your local English speaking host will greet you upon arrival and provide a welcome basket and breakfast and remain available for assistance if required to ensure that you have a successful and enjoyable stay. This house is suitable for a couple, three persons, or a family with 2-3 children. |

This tastefully decorated rental in Provence has an open plan living area with comfortable couches and chairs for relaxing, a dining table for 6, and an attractive, fully equipped kitchen. The decor is French country with tile floors, area rugs, and beamed ceilings.
The view from the family dining room is directly onto the mill wheel, which turns slowly as water from the meandering streams cascades over it.
The beautiful Provencal kitchen has a big 'island' in the middle for extra work space for several cooks or helpers! Century-old copper pots and pans are displayed for decoration. And, at the same time, everything is entirely modern, with all aplpliances and conveniences.
The thick walls of each rental house are almost 400 years old, keeping the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter for comfort and quiet. The luxurious decor and furnishings are typically Provencal, and the fixtures, amenities and equipment provided are all top quality. |

There is a large, master bedroom suite with a king size bed and a small sitting area, with an ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, and WC.
There is an additional sleeping area (not a closed bedroom) with twin bunks for children. Guests in the sleeping area share the guest bathroom or the master bathroom.
The living area has a queen-size sofabed for extra guests.
Guest bathroom has shower & WC.
Note: The living room with the queen size sofa bed can be isolated as a bedroom, if required. Passage to and from the kitchen and/or outside is possible via terraces, rather than through the living room.
An additional guest bedroom suite can be added on request, at additional cost. A staircase leads to this upper level bedroom suite, which has a king size bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, sink & WC. |

This rental can be adapted for 4-6 persons with an additional guest bedroom & ensuite bathroom on the upper floor which can be closed off or opened up as required, depending on the number of guests. This unit is also handicap accessible. The main living area, master bedroom & bathroom are all on ground level. |

I can't wait to tell you about our stay in Provence at the Grand Mas St Remy rental. The manager could not have been more splendid. From greeting us with a big hug and two kisses (on each side of our cheeks, of course) he made us feel welcome and very much at home. It was like being greeted by an uncle. A beautiful meal was prepared for us along with a kitchen filled with food for the following day. Plus, every morning, we were greeted with a bag of fresh croissants and bread. William and his niece Jessie, who was darling and very helpful, thought about our every need and desire, and met it before we even knew we needed something. The property was spotless and filled with everything a 5 Star hotel would offer, only more. Every morning William would sit with us over coffee and help us plan that day's trip. He gave us insights and tips that we would have never known about if we were just visiting with a tour book. William and his staff made our trip superior. The guests in the other properties were also wonderful and we had a chance to spend time with them when William threw a cocktail party! HIs parting gift to us was a beautiful bottle of Champagne. He is a first class guy who runs a first class property. Kerry like you said, this is an outstanding accommodation in a fantastic & central part of Provence. The nearest bakery is about 800 metres away, along the old canal path, in the direction of the village centre. Provence is beautiful, unique, intriguing and welcoming. There are points of interest to visit and to experience everywhere! Walk to the town centre to buy a new book or to eat and drink, plus visit the huge proven?ßal marketplace in St. Remy on Wednesdays. The choice is entirely yours. Whatever your activities and energy level, after a day-long of exploration of Provence, you will be able to relax at "home" or in the pool. |
