Description: This beautiful 550 sq. ft. apartment is quite special. It is situated on the 5th floor (above ground floor) of an apartment building with an elevator. It faces south and west, making it very sunny and it is high above the street level. 7 pairs of French doors open on to the balcony which surrounds the entire apartment giving a full on view of Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars Park. The apartment is in a contemporary design, furnished in soft neutral shades with limestone and granite finishes.
The apartment has lots of light, and is furnished in creams and beiges with original parquet floors. The balcony is surrounded by trees and offers a view of the Champ de Mars and unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. A round marble bistro table and chairs sit on the balcony for you to enjoy croissants and caf au lait each morning, or toast the sunset in the evening. The dining room and kitchen are at the end of the corridor. The dining room has a delightful feel, with contemporary Italian chandelier and an Italian glass table to seat 4. Three pairs of French doors lead onto balcony from the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has cherry wood cabinets and is fitted with all appliances: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher, toaster, etc. A 'window' over the sink overlooks the dining area so you can enjoy the Eiffel Tower view even when doing dishes which are from E. Dehellerin in Paris, the shop which furnishes all good restaurants. With a full array of cookware, you can shop the local market and prepare your own gourmet meals. Guests appreciate the fact that they can close the doors, fix themselves a hot drink and read or enjoy the view without waking others.
The finishes to the apartment are excellent: granite worktops in the kitchen, French beige limestone in the bathroom, white marble and antique basin in powder room, restored parquet floors and original marble fireplace. All windows and French doors are new and provide excellent sound and thermal insulation.
The living room opens to a stunning, panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower from 3 pairs of French doors. Original parquet floors, restored red marble fireplace, comfortable double sofa-bed, combine to make the room comfortable and light. TV, DVD player and sound system make it an excellent room for relaxing in after a long day of sightseeing and shopping.
A single folding mattress was specially made to fit in the bedroom cupboard as an additional option to the double sofa-bed.
The bedroom is straight ahead on entering the apartment. It has French doors leading to the balcony, and 2 sets of built-in closets. The twin beds can be pushed together to make a king.
The powder room is directly across the corridor, with a toilet and antique Italian marble sink and cupboard for extra 'getting ready' room.
The corridor leads to the apartment's bathroom on the right. There is a large, fixed shower, double sinks and washing machine. It is tiled in pale beige French limestone and has a clean and light feel.
Exterior: Secure building with code panel on outside door; locked inner door to lobby. Apartment door is steel reinforced.

Local Info:
Staying in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in Paris means everything. The apartment is surrounded by cafs, shops, restaurants and open markets; it retains the original village feel. The location is one of the best in Paris: 5 minutes walk to the Invalides, 10 minutes to the Trocadro, the Grand Palais and the couturier's on Ave. Montaigne. 15 minutes walk to the Champs Elyses, 20 minutes walk to Place de la Concorde and the Bon March department store. Within 2 blocks of the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars. The Champ de Mars Park is a rare bonus in Paris as there are few large parks in the center of the city. Walk, run, play in 1 of 3 playgrounds, basketball court, go to the puppet theater or just sit and enjoy. Nearby skating and bike rental are fun activities in the park, especially after strenuous site seeing. The river is 3 blocks away where the famous B?teaux Mouches boat tours begin. Open Markets: Rue Cler is 3 blocks away, one of the best and most famous streets for food in Paris. Pont de l'Alma is 5 minutes walk and has the largest open market in Paris every Saturday morning. Merchants come from the country with: wines, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, pats, breads, even 5 types of escargots!
