Lucky for us we ended up spending two wonderful weeks in a Belle Epoque apartment with a private veranda on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, right along the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, Kerry McKeen, the company's owner, personally answered our questions about everything, from where to do our shopping, to where to eat out, and even helped us to arrange day trips to the nearby villages of St. Jeannet and St. Paul de Vence, and got us tickets to the Cannes File Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. March 2009 - France Bound president Kerry McKeen attended the France Tourism trade show "Rendez-Vous France" in Paris, and the professional development programme in the Aquitaine region, which included visits to Bordeaux, St. Emilion, Biarritz, St. Jean de Luz, and Sare in the the Pays Basque.

October 2008 - France Bound vacation rental inspection & research trip - your France Bound team toured throughout Provence to inspect 25 new villa, house and apartment rentals for 2009, and to revisit many existing rental listings. We also visited new rentals in the Dordogne.

Fall 2007 - France Bound consultants travelled to SW France, Provence, and Paris to check new rental properties and to visit the locations. On this trip we visited the following rentals: Chateau Marmande, Maison Courtauly, Maison Monsegur, Maison Eymet, Chez St. Remy, Bastide Carpentras, Villa la Roque, Villa St. Didier, Apartment Quatre Dauphin, Paris Auteuil.
And we visited the following destinations: Toulouse, Languedoc region, Lot et Garonne department, the Pont du Gard, Luberon, St. Remy, Les Baux de Provence, Aix en Provence, Arles, and Paris.
We were also delighted to watch a Rugby World Cup match in Bordeaux, and to cheer on the Canadian team!
Spring 2007 - France Bound consultants travelled to Corsica, Strasbourg and Paris.

August 2004 - France Bound launches a new web site which has been completely redesigned and incorporates new interactive elements, enhanced content, improved navigation, and enticing photos of France. The new site
features an interactive map of France to easily locate rental properties and regional information.
New regional information pages help visitors to become more familiar with each of the 22 regions of France. Information about the landscape, places of interest, activities, food and wine is provided for each region, plus a tempting selection of images represent each area.
May 2004 - France Bound president Kerry McKeen joined the Canadian delegation of travel professionals at the 2004 Maison de la France tourism program in France. Trade shows, workshops and educational tours were held in 3 locations: Deauville, Normandy; Paris; and Avignon, Vaucluse. The event was invaluable for the opportunity to meet with travel and tourism representatives, and to establish new contacts and resources for France Bound.
January 2004 - France Bound is licensed under the B.C. Travel Agency Act and maintains trust accounts for all funds received by clients. Our financial statements are audited annually by the Registrar of Travel Services. In addition, we have posted a bond in favour of the Travel Registrar, and contribute annually to the B.C.
