Villa Venelles is a well appointed Provencal villa in a tranquil country setting with views of the surrounding vineyards and the famous Mt. Ste. Victoire, which dominates the landscape around Aix-en-Provence.
The villa is spacious, bright and tastefully decorated with attractive antique furnishings. To one side of the sunny entry hall is a sweeping open staircase to the upper floor. The entry hall opens onto a large split level living room with fireplace. An archway and several steps lead to the traditional dining room with a formal table and double French doors opening onto a west facing terrace. The Provencal style country kitchen is located next to the dining room. The kitchen is decorated with traditional blue tiles and has lots of counter space. French doors open onto a covered terrace. The floors are tile throughout the house. There is a second large sitting room upstairs for casual entertaining with comfortable couches and a TV. |

On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms: one with a terrace with a spectacular view of Mt. Ste. Victoire, the other slightly smaller double bedroom has a view to the west and may be used as a study. Nearby is a bathroom with shower, and WC.
Upstairs there is a spacious TV room with fireplace and comfortable couches for casual entertaining. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and faces east with a wrap around terrace and superb views. The ensuite bathroom has a tub and shower, WC, bidet, and double sinks. There are very large, spacious, dressing closets with floor to ceiling mirrored doors. In addition, there are 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower and WC. A nearby laundry closet contains a washer and dryer.

Automatic gates open onto a 50m driveway leading up to the villa. The 10x5m swimming pool is situated on a raised and enclosed terrace area to the south of the villa and reached by a set of stairs. The pool is surrounded by sunny terraces with garden furniture. The grounds are peaceful, attractive with beautiful views and privacy. There is a pleasant combination of lawns, garden, terraces and woods. The terrace off the dining room has an outdoor table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is a small cottage and pond on the grounds and parking space for several vehicles. The property is surrounded by vineyards and offers spectacular views of the countryside and Mt. Ste. Victoire.
