This pretty cottage is located on the grounds of a wine Ch?¢teau and surrounded by vineyards. The cottage is about 80m2m and features a fully-equipped kitchen, an open plan living-dining room, 2 bedrooms, a shower room with washer & dryer, and a private terrace for outdoor dining with fabulous views.
The living room is equipped with entertainment equipment and a view of the orchard and fountain. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, cooking utensils and a dining table for 4 and windows overlooking the orchard and fountain.
Outside there is a small private terrace with a table & chairs, and BBQ for outdoor dining. |

The apartment is fully equipped and suitable for one or two adult couples.
La Closerie is the nearest restaurant in Ansouis. It is small and intimate with wonderful food, fabulous service and all at reasonable prices. The wine list is also great value with a good selection of the local wines and those of the Rhone Valley. |

We recently rented this lovely cottage located on a vineyard. What a delight ! It was such a peaceful setting and yet family oriented. The owners were constantly giving us ideas of wonderful places to visit in the area. We discovered so many awesome places. The wines from the vineyard were very good, and the local merchant educated us with a bit of free "wine tasting" advice. We would not hesitate to stay here again one day. We have been travelling and living overseas for the past 30 years and in the future we will recommend France Bound to all our friends and acquaintances along the way. The apartment is situated on the grounds of a wine producing chateau and is surrounded by the vineyard. It has panoramic views of the Chateau d'Ansouis and the village. Ansouis is one of the most beautiful villages of France. There are many other scenic villages close by with hilltop castles and atmospheric provencal markets. The area is well served by first class restaurants and there are many stunning hikes or walks to work up a good appetite. It is 25 minutes to Aix en Provence and 50 minutes to Avignon. Ansouis makes a great base for exploring the summer festivals such as the Opera in Aix, Theatre in Avignon and Piano in Roque d'Antheron. It is also a good base for exploring the Roman cities of Arles, Nimes and Orange, the Pont du Gard and the scenic beauty of the Gorge du Verdon, the Camargue and the coast around Marseille.
